Melted Fiber - California Jade

This is what I call a melted fiber piece. It is made from hand dyed silk chiffon strips and wool yarns which have all been sewn together with rayon threads. It has a felted feeling to it in places due to the wool yarns. This piece is one of my body and soul series, it would fabulous hanging on a wall, draped over a chair or worn on your body. The width is not constant down the piece, at the widest it measures 41 inches and the length is 106 inches.
