Hand Dyed Silk and Rayon Scarf

This silk and rayon wrap was created from hand dyed silk and rayon fabrics which were torn and woven together in an off loom technique, then freemotion machine stitched in allover spiral patterns. This is a celebratory piece commemorating my own recognition of the changing of the seasons and honoring of the summer and winter solstice. The piece measures 23 inches wide by 76 inches long, including fabric fringe edges.
