Melted Fiber - Harvest

This is what I call a melted fiber piece. It is made from rust printed silk strips and wool roving and wool yarns which have all been sewn together with rayon thread. It has a felted feeling to it in places due to the wool yarns. This piece is one of my body and soul series, it is meant to be beautiful and functional it could be hung on a wall, draped over a chair or worn on your body. The width is not constant down the piece, at the widest it measures 36 inches and the length is 109 inches.
